Cobble

Cobble is a Bluetooth bookshelf speaker with an interactive interface on the top surface. Four magnetic pegs can be placed in different patterns on a grid. When a preset pattern is completed, the speaker plays a saved sound profile, such as a nature or white noise loop. Cobble also works as a normal Bluetooth speaker for audio from a connected device. The placing of pegs recalls the board game Go and invites a short moment of quiet concentration. The prototype uses a wooden casing, sand-blasted acrylic panels and LED light strips.

Rotator

Rotator is a multifunctional mobile phone holder that combines wireless charging with a Bluetooth speaker. The holder offers two charging positions: flat charging, and charging at an angle of 60 degrees that holds the phone upright for watching videos. Two support bars act as controls, so the speaker volume and the phone screen brightness can be adjusted. The body is made of an aluminium case with an acrylic panel, shaped by CNC machining and metal 3D printing. Rotator measures 90 by 90 by 100 millimetres.

Dandelion Seed is a speaker with an integrated light. The design is based on respect for plants as living beings. The form refers to three stages of a dandelion life: seed, growing and death. A hollow glass ball is made by glass blowing and holds batteries and LED lights. Magnetic field technology gives the ball a sense of levitating above the base. Sound is spread in 360 degrees, and a device can be connected by Bluetooth. The music played by the speaker is presented as a symbol of the silent sound of the plant. The soft light is intended to help people relax.

Konka A5 Series Smart TV is a television designed to combine art aesthetics with new technology. Two electric rotary speakers are placed on both sides of the screen and can turn 15 degrees through voice control. A sub-screen allows voice control of connected home devices, and a lifting camera can be raised or lowered to protect privacy. The aluminum bottom frame carries two disc patterns cut by high-precision CNC machining. The speaker covers are finished with gradient color fabric, and the plastic back shell has an etched sand flow texture.
